1. My main concern within this project at the setting up stage is taking up a lot of your time.

3. Now that lockdown is easing up albeit slowly, you will have more work to take on and you'll be able to go away properly in your motorhome.  I must not purloin your work or free time.

5. When I came up about ten days after you said you'd set the Home page up you kindly looked at the wpengine site and we were to work via Teamviewer.

Meanwhile, I went back to work more on other aspects of the WP site - new pages etc.  That involved three separate sessions with the online chat team.  More than three hours.  The latest chat was 1 July when the bloke finally showed me how to edit the Home page.   You might skim at alanfharrison.wpengine.com

15. I am a long way to setting up most of them.  Via the wpengine chat sessions.

17. Moving your Ionis home page over to my wpengine system will surely take you a long time.

19. That would include making a white block above the dark patch for the page links.  I also want to halve the depth of the dark patch and show a galaxy etc.  More work for you.

23. Have three books in the "For Dummies" format. Tried Bluehost and one other. Useless except keeping domain away from the chosen host.

27. So far it is turning out to be without hope. Have put in a hundred hours. I am glad there's a 60 day money-back in place.

29. Further more -  I am 79 and age is catching up with me. Memory and attention span specifically. That means less ability to follow the very complicated structure of wpengine.

31. Fortunately, there are chat sessions which seem to work - eventually.  I will login to a system which gives 30 mins online face to face chats with an expert.  Then there is a WP community I'll use fairly soon.

33. Thanks again Pete for what you've done already.  Ideally you'll take the project on professionally.  If so, I wouldn't feel so guilty re taking up your free time.
