Text for Home page
This is a new website for all parents having to cope with the home-schooling aspects of Covid 19. It is promising in respect to support and doubly promising since there is plenty of advice on how to engage children in its specific field of study - Astronomy.
It is a support system for parents with a child or children between eight and twelve. The children have a lot of material within a website of their own. It is menu based on the local astronomy curriculum within all parts of the UK. The specific Astronomy/Science curriculum is KS2 and there are "hidden" pages within the children's website linked to it from this website.
Security considerations are dealt with in that children cannot communicate directly with the website author. I have been more of a space enthusiast since retiring twenty years ago, I am well qualified and experienced in education and offer full support to parents throughout the lockdown and thereafter.
I live in Charlbury, west Oxfordshire.
Best wishes
