1. Hi, I'm more technical than creative and marketing. 
2. The key with such websites is LOADS of content. 
3. But more nowadays days than ever, I recommend using your website as a support for launching on YouTube. 
4. The "kids of today" will use that more than a single website that you've created. So create your content on YouTube and add supporting material on your website - Must it must have content?
5. Making youtube videos isn't easy for beginners as you also need video equipment and some editing ability (the software is free)

7. this is great free software. Children prefer and learn far more from the youtube platform than reading.
